Right now, we don't own our traffic, data, emails, contacts, or algorithms. We pay monthly fees to rent digital real estate on platforms like Stanstore, Shopify, and Skool, even before we've made any sales or transactions. Regardless of whether we make any transactions or sales, we still have to pay these monthly fees, which can range from $30 to over $150 depending on the subscription plan and platform needs. At this point, we are still limited because we can only access what the subscription tier allows. Many people opt out of higher tiers because they don't meet the needs of solopreneurs or small businesses— they are tailored for enterprise-level users, not the backbone creators of these platforms, which is us.
